Biography
Caura Wood PhD (abd) in the Department of Anthropology at York University, Canada, is a corporate anthropologist working in the intersections of corporate governance, energy entrepreneurialism and finance. Her research explores Alberta’s energy assemblage, tracing the specific ways that global capital scales through multiple corporate forms and through multizonal spaces of the Western Canadian Sedimentary basin in pursuit of hydrocarbon returns.
